Chemical Peel

I had a chemical peel done - I was recommended a stronger strength as I have them done occasionally and I don’t have sensitive skin. I can see it’s obviously a chemical burn, but is it usually for it to look like this a couple days after the treatment? The lady said all the darker areas will peel off up to 7-12 days.
