Acne under skin?

Anyone ever see this before? Literally pumps under my skin. Only on my chin, no where else. I'm not referring to the the actual red pimple you see but the little pumps under my skin. I've been on consistant topical acne medication since August 1 of last year and I was on doxycycline in then beginning but stopped that though I do have back up "as needed" that i have not taken. My acne has improved drastically besides a little break out here & there as I'm having one now. I started birth control three months ago and haven't noticed a change in my acne but now I'm noticing these bumps I don't think I've had til now.
