hi! I am a 23 year old female and I have hormonal acne (I have been to a gynaecologist) on my face and back. :( I have low self esteem and I am pretty bad with sticking with routines... also, there is so much information available and it is difficult to navigate through different options what to do about my acne. recently I had an appointment with a dermatologist and she provided me with SO little information… and I waited for this appointment for months. I got prescribed spironolactonum+epiduo, but the doctor was literally like “yeah, just see how much spironolactonum you want to take, you can take up to 200mg”. when it comes to epiduo – she did not tell me what my skincare routine should be and just told me “start wearing it daily”, but it literally burns my skin and learning more about it I found out that I should start slowly… needless to say, she did not explain to me how these drugs work. 😭 she was just there to prescribe me something and I left her office after 10-15 minutes later.
my skin is normally not dry nor oily, but recently it has been very dry, which caused me to break out again. in the evenings I am using micellar water to remove makeup, then I wash it with a bionike AKNET face wash, then I use epiduo and then I moisturize with bioderma sebium. in the mornings I wash my face with water and then moisturize again.
anyways, guys, I wanted to ask you what is the easiest skincare routine that I should start following? do you have experience with spiro and epiduo? how to moisturize my skin? I am reading about it myself too, but I would like to hear your experiences, especially with hormonal acne…
