Scared to take Accutane

I am 23 (F). I’ve had constant acne since I was about 12. Dermatologist recommends Accutane at this point as I’ve exhausted antibiotics, topicals, and washes. Scared because I have a history of depression and anxiety and am worried Accutane will worsen it. Also, my dermatologist says I have to be on 2 forms of birth control to take it, and I’m currently on none. Worried about how all of this will affect my mental health. Most of my face is scarring, plus my breakout from my period right now.
