What are some treatments to look into for scarring?

Like the title says, what are some treatments to research to treat acne scarring? I have heard about micro needling, chemical peels, laser treatments. Do estheticians perform these procedures or only dermatologist? People who have gotten these procedures, how to you deal with the healing phase? Do you request time off work? Thanks
