Recommendations?

Hello! So I’m 24 and I’ve always dealt with Acne primarily around my chin/under my lips. It’s always been a problem area for me since I was a teenager. I will occasionally get some acne in the crevices of my nose but it typically sticks to the area under my lips. I have no idea what to do to help control it. I’m on the depo birth control shot (first injection, been on it for almost a month now) and I’m also creeping up on my period and I have no idea if either of those are to blame. I’ve had mild acne but this is the worst I’ve ever seen it, I used to use curology but I had never seen a difference in my skin after giving it a chance for 6 months so I just dropped it. Ironically that’s when my acne started acting up a bit so now I’m not sure if the curology was keeping it at bay and whatever acne I had was actually from my period. So to finally get to the point where should I go from here? I can’t afford a dermatologist and I just use the curology gentle cleanser and gel moisturizer as those are what feel great on my skin. I’m not too well versed on skincare so any advice to help me finally get rid of my horrible acne problem would be appreciated! submitted by /u/kuhweenbri [link] [comments]
