Face covered in closed comedones

Face covered in closed comedones and black heads that only seem to get bigger. They sometimes turn into white head or big pustules. I take spironolactone so my cystic acne has subsided, but these clogged bumps are only getting worse. Here is my routine: Am: rinse with water a little Vani cream face wash. Add a pea sized amount of ordinary azelaic acid and then vani cream moisturizer. Pm: use elf cleansing balm to remove makeup, wash face with vani cream face wash.
